- Local storage: App data is stored on the device first.
- iCloud: Private character synchronization and the OSReferee/OSTools campaign library use Apple iCloud and CloudKit.
- Connected play: Referee connectivity requires OSTools Pro; invited OSCharacter players do not need to buy the referee subscription.
- Export, import, and backup: Each app creates supported files only when you use its export or backup controls.
- Purchases: Apple handles StoreKit purchases. The $4.99 OSReferee Premium upgrade is shared with OSTools for Mac; $5.99 monthly OSTools Pro remains separate.
